    … and will anyone with the legislative power to do so, add funding and requirements to the US Postal Service to guarantee a realistic chance of getting those ballots delivered on time? Of course not. Isn’t the post office still headed by a Trump sycophant who directed the destruction of mail sorting machines before the previous election?

      You’re thinking of Louis DeJoy, who retired in March 2025. Currently, the postmaster general is David Steiner, who I don’t know much about.
