This is beautiful. It’s what he always does when with a problem: he deflects. I mean there’s a certain elegance to the solution of making sure you can’t be prosecuted by pointing the entire investigating force in the opposite direction.

But I think he might be doing left leaning people a favour here because if they do find wrongdoing in the conservative wing of the Democrats it might clear out some of the out of touch Martha’s Vinyard types and give an opportunity for someone else who is more in tune with the electorate.
