I have a very firm memory of reading the term Yellow Journalism in my history text book in high school it was bold and highlighted because it was a key vocab word, I also remember how little time was spent discussing it, I don’t think I could’ve ever imagined how important that term and its progression to the information media system we have now, we are well and truly fucked because they cannot just call a spade a spade because they are owned by entities that need you to believe the spade is a diamond
