The influential business magazine The Economist draws a striking conclusion: while the U.S. hesitates and Europe wavers, China is thundering into the green future with solar farms, batteries, and electric cars. If the climate summit in Belém [Brazil] proves anything, it's this:
Some areas of China will just as soon paint the sides of mountains and hills green to fool people into thinking things are better than they really are.
So, I’m gonna say no, no I don’t think China is gonna help save the planet anytime soon.
