I think the change would be harmful, stupid, and not in the spirit of the law. They are trying to argue bullshit, but that’s been a majority of their lawsuits.

Your point remains that this is stupid, especially for Americans (I’m American). I think that MAGA wing is the only people with these beliefs in earnest, and they don’t understand the rippling impact from it.
