Day 8 of the 2025 Space Telescope Advent Calendar: Sculpted by Stellar Winds. NGC 346 is a young star cluster about 200,000 light-years away, in the Small Magellanic Cloud. This image combines Hubble observations made at infrared, optical, and ultraviolet wavelengths, showing the hot blue stars carving out a space inside the surrounding nebula of gas and dust.

See the full advent calendar here, where a new image will be revealed each day until December 25.
