Visiting the US as a tourist could soon become significantly more onerous under a new plan being mulled by the Trump administration. You guys are doing such a great job ensure nobody with means, skills, education, morals, conviction, or any choice in the matter at all, will ever willingly set foot in your country again.

A country that despite all its significant flaws, was the global hegemon and had most of the industrialized West on their side until about a year ago.

In the past year the US has alienated almost every ally they have, squandered every ounce of soft power they had, and gutted every program that made the USA what it is.

What is the USA without top universities, a stable global currency, a rules based international order, everything the US built in the post WW2 world that shaped our current civilizations has been tossed aside

The USA is now just an enormous army run by psychopaths

In addition to concerns about civil liberties violations, there are also worries about what the new policy would do to the US tourism industry.
