I do the same on my low pitch roof. It seems to get steeper every year. In a few more it will be unsafe for me.

My parents used to expect me to blow off the roof when I was a teenager. I definitely did not do so safely. I recently went up on my metal roof and realized walking on that is not something I’m going to be doing, so I did my best blowing it off from the ladder
