    The more I think about it, I think half the reason was to be able to dump “illegal” immigrants there. And children of illegal immigrants who are US citizens by birth. And TPS, and legal migrants who he can make something up about, and anyone that speaks Spanish, and everyone else he doesn’t like. I think he was sick of negotiating with other countries to take people and this gave him an open dumping ground for everyone.
