    I’ll likely never get why some use “everyone” in such claims, thankfully.

    I’ve been employed for at least 20 years in security, military, working frequently on web-dev and Linux administration, and the job requires to travel a lot similar to a digital nomad. The most regular region is Europe, and I meet quite of ineffably magnificent people all along. Here, I’ve met like 5% of people who have a Meta’s WhatsApp account, I believe, and Telegram is even more popular, not to mention Viber, Matrix, and Discord.

    I don’t even have an account out there, still! And though multiple people asked for it, there was no need - I just didn’t care about joining another social having others, and the feel that Meta is involved just suggested constant monitoring and generating profile from my messages/discussions for their social engine.

    Please… do consider the incredible infinity of the world out there, dear those in “echo-chamber” who use “everyone”…
    Sorry, but “everyone” is just inadequate, narrowminded, and even impolite…
