What should happen: The Dems shutdown the government and keep it shut down until Republicans agree to dissolve ICE and the DHS.
What will happen: Dem senators will cave like bitches, possibly to avoid the shutdown entirely
Cave right after 3 weeks under the promise of concept of plan to reform.
It will end like every single shut down previously, I’m surprised people haven’t caught on: they will cave as soon as some facet of the airline industry threatens to strike or quit. Be it air traffic controllers, pilots, flight attendants, TSA, ground crew. As soon as their travel is threatened to be inconvenient, they will bend over backwards to get the government reopen.
