That is a “maybe” at best. The fact is that it IS the guns used for killing, and if you remove all guns, you remove most of these killings too. The underlying cause might be media literacy (and quoting Michael Moore is not getting it from the best source) but that will take years to change.
Get rid of guns, get rid of the deaths. Or, like Chris Rock suggested, make each bullet 5000 dollars.
