racism (n.): an ideology, system, or set of practices that asserts the inherent superiority of one racial/ethnic group over others, resulting in prejudice, discrimination, and systemic inequality.

Maybe you just disagree and think his actions aren’t racist and unpleasant. That’s fair, I just think it’s weird to hide behind the guise of it being unprofessional to use words that clearly reflect reality/the intention of the author/journalist.
