    It bears repeating Everytime…

    The Los Angeles patrols date back to 1992, after the riots that erupted when officers were acquitted of brutally beating Rodney King

    It was a peaceful protest, but it was in “white neighborhoods”, so the cops kettled them and instigated violence. They literally beat the protesters back out of the white areas to the nearest minority area, with was K-town.

    Once the protesters were riled up and away from white people, the police, fire, and medical emergency services refused to respond to any are that wasn’t a white neighborhood. And you’re probably think I meant that in the moment, they refused to respond for days.

    Because the protestors had a point and this would make the American public not listen to them.

    For some reason that bit isn’t common knowledge yet.

    Despite cities/cops still using this exact strategy.
