The real question though is why they put a live microphone so near to him. Almost like they were hoping this would happen.
It’s popular right now to put disability in the spotlight, reducing disabled people to only their disability (or identity as they would call it). Trying to work around or help with someones disability has become a bad thing (it’s seen as trying to erase their identity).
It’s like with those deaf/blind morons who protest against curing deafness/blindness in children.
