I’m not in a position to watch the short, but spy cameras? Surely they’re for remotely monitoring patients. So health care staff can quickly make sure from a nurses station if patients are having visible trouble.

I can’t speak for the NHS but the US does have strong privacy laws surrounding Healthcare. Even if they recorded video they can’t share it with anyone but your doctor or health care team without your permission. Cops would need a warrant to view it.

Also, I don’t expect to have THAT much privacy in a hospital anyway.
