Where is the evidence of the liberals there being against this war, or (more importantly) being against this war on any grounds other than “the dumb guy is doing it dumbly”? I seem to recall a different imperial war in the middle east prosecuted by a dumb republican, to which the liberal democrat’s response was “we could do it smarter”.
