What, and you think that’s somehow different from any other fundamentalist regime? LOL, it’s not as if any of them (from the US, to Israel, to Iran, to any theocracy throughout history) are ‘true believers;’ they just like subjugating people and using ‘the opiate of the masses’ to do it.

And this matters … why? It’s always about power. Who cares if his followers chew his gherkin because they think he’s the second cumming of Christ or because they think he’s a stable genius. He’s neither, and it doesn’t matter. Fact is, he’s using and abusing religion for his reign and those sheep fall for it. Maybe religion should be handled like genitals. Kept in private and away from kids.

(I’m German and I realize FKK is a thing. But just like that has its place, religion has it. I’m not going to swing my noodle in the senate)
