Where I live, there is a social media / Whatsapp chats sharing creating abject fear of being raped by a Muslim, brown or black person. The reality is horrifyingly clear that we are at greatest risk from those in our own communities. Think of everyone who has ever experienced sexual assault, or the attempt, and almost all are from white people in normal social settings. Don’t look the wrong way!
