Details: Early reports indicate that an unidentified man opened fire several times at the politician in Lviv on 30 August, killing Parubii on the spot.

The attacker fled the scene, and a special police operation code-named Siren was launched in the city to locate and apprehend the perpetrator.

Senior officials from the oblast prosecutor’s office and the National Police are working at the site, with forensic experts involved.

The identity of the attacker and the circumstances of the crime are still being established.
