Ask anyone lynched during Jim Crow about “now.”

I’d like to be upset about gun violence in this nation, but it has been made abundantly clear that no one with the authority to affect change wants to do anything to reduce, stem, or curtail it. I don’t know why I should be any more outraged that someone “in the media” caught a free-range lead bird than the literal dozen(s) of others that did the same today.
