I’d say ICE doesn’t even have the legal jurisdiction to be policing protests but we all know that fascists don’t care about the law.

They don’t have the legal jurisdiction to be “deporting” people including US citizens to random third countries. It’s just a question of whether anyone is going to stop them. So far the answer is “not really.”

True that. They also keep charging people with crimes for interfering with (“assaulting”) ICE, and the grand juries keep tossing the cases before they even get to the trial, which I’m sure really irritates them.

The really telling part about that is that grand juries are overused in order to circumvent show cause hearings. So defendants don’t even get to appear like they would at a standard hearing. The grand jury is done with just the prosecutor in secret.
