alien air
This is not “air”, this is an atmosphere composed of helium and hydrogen. “Air” is:
A colorless, odorless, tasteless, gaseous mixture, mainly nitrogen (approximately 78 percent) and oxygen (approximately 21 percent) with lesser amounts of argon, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, neon, helium, and other gases.
It’s quite specific to our atmosphere. If we find another planet with these gases in different ratios, and it’s still human-breathable, we can call it “alien air”. This exoplanet has air like Venus does - which is to say, it fucking doesn’t. Christ, science “journalism” like this pisses me off.
