Venezuela was my main example of what Trump’s America would look like if he got reelected: increasingly a dumper fire as government employees are hired/retained based on loyalty rather than competence. But that was before Trumps current term and the speed of our collapse into fascist dictatorship. Regime change will be a shitshow for both countries involved.
