Backed by Elon Musk and Tommy Robinson, Advance UK is set to be the UK’s latest far-right political party. The party has hit a setback, however, with the hotel hosting their launch cancelling the event on “health and safety” grounds.

In other words, it’s not so much an ‘Advance’ as a ‘Reverse’.
Advance UK not making progress
As reported by Chronicle Live, the hotel in question is owned by Newcastle City Council. A spokesperson from the council said:
We are aware that hotel management has taken the decision to cancel a forthcoming event scheduled for Saturday 27 September on health and safety grounds.
As the owner of the hotel, we absolutely support their decision to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff members, guests and visitors to the hotel. As in any situation, the safety of all those in our city is our absolute priority.

It’s interesting how often these people breakaway from one another; it’s almost like they can’t bear to be in the same room together. Reform is a rebranding of the Brexit Party, which itself was a breakaway of UKIP, who you may be surprised to discover are still going:

Wow, who could have predicted that this was the direction of travel for UKIP?
Habib was the Reform co-leader until he wasn’t. This is how he announced that:
I have just been informed by Nigel Farage that Richard Tice is taking over as deputy leader of the party. Consequently, I no longer hold that position.
Ouch.
Habib also said:
I have long held concerns about the control of the party and the decision-making processes. I will reflect on all of this.
At the moment of breakaway, Farage said that Habib:
attacked me more in public than the Labour Party have.
Farage added:
He’s gone very bitter, very twisted. It’s very sad. The fact that he’s walked away, frankly, is a huge relief.
It may be less of a relief now that Habib is on the outside pissing in, especially as he’s made friends with the far-right figures Farage keeps at arm’s length.

Farage has always avoided Robinson because he’s smart enough to know the broader electorate will think badly of him cavorting with the UK’s vilest cunt. Unfortunately for Farage, Robinson is exactly the sort of scum that Musk loves, so the tech billionaire is attacking Reform from the right.

We doubt Musk could point out Newcastle on a map. Of course, this is slightly unfair if the ketamine accusations are true, as he likely can’t point out his own nose. Robinson has also invited accusations of drug use:
A father of one of the survivors called out Tommy Robinson for persistently texting his daughter and inviting her to a hotel where Tommy and his mates were sniffing coke. And called them groomers.
He ruined cases with his antics.

One person who criticised Robinson for drug use is Jayda Fransen, the leader of the Christian Nationalist Party – a breakaway party of Britain First (which itself broke away from the British National Party):

Fransen is bashing Robinson for not being sufficiently racist because there’s always a further right. If you think you’ve gone as far right as you can, wait five minutes and an even worse party will split off from that one like a gremlin from a sodden mogwai.
Far right on the night
As we’ve shown you, the UK far right is an absolute mess of rivalries, accusations, and implosions.
Reform might keep figures like Robinson at a distance, but it’s clear from Habib’s post-Reform trajectory that these people share a similar ethos. There may also be more Reform-to-Advance defections to come once the party is launched (if it gets that far).
