Russia has attacked gas workers in Sumy Oblast with a drone while they were dealing with the aftermath of the previous attack.

Quote from Koretskyi: “The Russians attacked our gas workers in Sumy Oblast. The emergency crew arrived on call after another Russian air strike on one of the villages to localise damage to the gas networks.”

The attack was carried out during emergency repairs, with the enemy sending a drone into the gas workers’ service vehicle. The vehicle was destroyed, but there were no casualties.

“Even in such difficult conditions in the frontline regions, our colleagues are working hard. After all, in most settlements, gas is the only way to cook food, heat water or heat homes,” Koretskyi added.

Background: On the night of 26-27 September, Russian forces struck the railway infrastructure in Odesa Oblast.
