Dan Neidle has provided a full analysis of this on Bluesky. In summary, the trust had no impact on the IHT position of Starmer’s parents’ estate when they died; no tax was avoided and nothing even slightly illegal was done. I am no fan of Starmer but this is a non-story purely designed as a smear.
