Grand Blanc, Michigan — Authorities have identified the suspect in Sunday’s mass shooting and arson at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc as 40-year-old Thomas Jacob Sanford, a resident of Burton, Michigan.Law enforcement sources confirmed that police units were stationed outside a residence on Atherton Road in Burton, which public property records list as belonging to Sanford. The home at 4156 Atherton Road has been cordoned off as investigators search for additional evidence.
