Hi, all, and happy Wednesday!

Also, to all who observe it, wishing you a meaningful Yom Kippur.

There’s no real newsletter today, but here are just a few quick things of note:

  1. I just learned of a mass call happening TONIGHT at 8:30 PM EST/5:30 PM PST and I wanted to put it on your radar. It’s hosted by Fair Share America, Indivisible, MoveOn, Public Citizen, and Working Families Power. You’ll hear an update on the federal funding fight and some very smart people will discuss how we can organize collectively to support and protect our communities in this federal budget showdown.

Unfortunately, this event conflicts with Yom Kippur due to the timing of the government shutdown - it will be recorded and available to anyone who is unable to join and would like to watch later.

Sign up here.

  1. Here are some helpful “Myths vs. Facts” on the shutdown from my friends at the Dem House Communications office. Please use them when talking to friends and family.

  2. Finally, I’m doing an Instagram Live with Rep. Seth Magaziner today at noon PT / 3PM ET. Feel free to come watch—we’ll be talking all things shutdown, Epstein, and healthcare.

See you tomorrow!

Thanks, all!
