On 8 October, we reported that Gary Neville had riled up the ‘angry, middle-aged white men’ by daring to criticise the current wave of flag shagging. Now, some of these very same flag shaggers have turned up to hurl abuse at a woman in his employ:

Goon squad comes out after Gary Neville
As we reported on 8 October, Gary Neville said:
I just kept thinking as I was driving home last night, we’re all being turned on each other, and the division that’s being created is absolutely disgusting, mainly created by angry, middle-aged white men who know exactly what they’re doing.
Neville added:
Funnily enough, on one of my development sites last week there was a Union Jack flag put up, and I took it down instantly. And some people might be watching this and thinking ‘well Gary, that weren’t patriotic’.
I played for my country 85 times, I love my country, I love England, but I’ve been building in this city for 15, 20 years, and there’s no-one put a Union Jack flag up in the last 15 to 20 years, so why’d you need to put one up now?
Quite clearly it’s sending a message to everybody that there is something you don’t like, the union jack flag being used in a negative fashion is not right. And I’m a proud supporter of England, of Great Britain, of our country, and would champion it anywhere in the world as being one of the greatest places to live. But I think we need to check ourselves and sort of start to think about bringing ourselves back to a neutral point.
In the video at the top, the person behind the camera is filming as three members of Gary Neville’s hotel staff stand there in silence (one woman and two men). At the same time, what can only be described as the most horrible cunts imaginable shout stuff like:
“You need to sort them fucking nostrils out”.“What if you get grabbed off one of them on the way home, I hope it don’t happen to you”.“They’re gonna stick their little chipolata in that.”“Little crater face”.“Go and get a wash. And while you’re there, go and get a wax.”“Scummy little tramp.”
It’s not completely clear if all the insults are directed at the woman or if some of them are intended for the two guys next to her. Either way, it’s horrible stuff, and a display of what happens when you embolden the grimmest morons in the country.
Opportunists
Interestingly, we noticed that one guy responded to the incident outside the hotel with the following:

This is true, Alan, yes, but there are a couple of problems with what you’re saying.
The first problem is it’s just not true to say immigrants are all “raping innocent white girls” and “being a risk to children”.
The second problem is the current flag pandemic was started by people in the Tommy Robinson orbit, as HOPE not hate reported:

HOPE not hate can reveal that the co-founder and organiser of the group is longtime Stephen Lennon (AKA Tommy Robinson) ally Andrew Currien (AKA Andy Saxon). Formerly a key member of the English Defence League’s leadership bodyguard team, and now running security for the far-right party Britain First, Currien has previously been jailed for his part in a racist death. He was one of six men convicted in 2009 after a 59-year-old man was crushed to death by a car following a violent brawl.

So, why is this a problem?
It’s a problem because these people only care about women when it comes to bashing minoritised people, as HOPE not hate reported:
Since founding the EDL in 2009, the issue of sexual violence at the hands of Muslim men – described as ‘Rape Jihad’ – has been a mainstay for Stephen Yaxley-Lennon. However, he himself has an appalling record of confronting paedophilia and abuse within his own team and amongst his supporters. Lennon has consistently ignored or even defended occurrences of these crimes in his own ranks, proving that he is more concerned with attacking Muslims than actually combatting CSE or challenging sexual violence.
Notoriously, in June 2010 Lennon’s close friend and ally Richard Price was convicted of making four indecent images of children, and possessing cocaine and crack cocaine.[i] The vile images were found on his computer by police after he was arrested for disturbances at an EDL demonstration.
Far from condemning Price’s crimes, the EDL launched a campaign for his release.

HOPE not hate added:
For all its talk of Muslim paedophiles, the EDL was a hotbed of sex offenders. Since its formation, there have been at least 20 members and supporters convicted of child sexual exploitation offences. At least 10 of these were active in the EDL while Lennon was still leading it, and we are yet to find a single condemnation from Lennon.
Recently, we reported that Lauren Southern accused Robinson of covering up for Andrew Tate. This happened after Southern accused Tate of raping her.
So yeah, put up all the flags you like, but whether you like it or not this campaign is spearheaded by far-right activists who couldn’t give a single shit about women.
In defence of Gary Neville

Flag mania
While the flag shaggers insist they’re not racist, they’ve struggled to get through a single protest without being blatantly racist.
People aren’t wrong to say that pointing out the racism isn’t stopping it, but at the same time, things would be much, much worse if we all just turned a blind eye.
