    I think he is saying that the gerrymandering will make the margins of victory tighter for all of the GOP seats, so if the voter turnout is different than they expect then it could backfire and GOP could lose seats

      That’s what happens when you cheat. You may win in the short term, but it could come back and bite you. Also, fuck Tillis.

        NC was already gerrymandered too so this can not help them in a blue wave. Assuming they don’t just purge the rolls or worse

      I know but Republicans pride themselves on handing loaded guns to kids and lecturing them about personal responsibility, my point is they don’t give a flying fuck if things backfire, we are so past that point of commitment from Republicans to fascism in this country the opportunity for things to backfire is not something many Republican voters are capable of comprehending at this stage of their brainworms. All they see or want is blood and what you are saying is “more blood might happen!”.

      If this backfires, that is great for Republicans as they can use it as an excuse to completely get rid of voting. That is where we are at, make no mistake.
