Russian forces have carried out a strike with guided aerial bombs on the centre of the city of Kharkiv. Currently, 33 people are known to have been injured.

Details: Early reports from Terekhov indicated that the Russians launched two guided aerial bombs. Residential buildings in the city’s Shevchenkivskyi district were damaged.

Initially, Terekhov reported that one of the bombs had hit a multi-storey residential building and that people were trapped under the rubble. The second bomb struck a business, where a fire broke out.

He later clarified that the strike had occurred near the multi-storey residential building and about 15 cars were on fire at the scene.

Update: The latest information from Terekhov indicates that two FAB-250 guided aerial bombs hit the city, destroying a transformer substation and a sewing business.
Terekhov added that there are many broken windows and damaged roofs in the residential area in the centre of Kharkiv.
Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, reported that 33 people were injured in the Russian attack. Three children received medical assistance – a 10-year-old girl and a 28-day-old baby suffered acute stress reactions, and a 17-year-old boy received blast injuries with trauma to the head.
Five people have been taken to hospital, including a 33-year-old woman in a serious condition.
