23 days agoMy neighbour is retired and gets up at 5 am and works in his garden until the sun sets, except when his wife calls him in for breaks.
It’s not really work when it’s something you can just stop doing, or offload part of the task to someone else when you don’t want to do it anymore. I don’t like it when media uses “work” to describe the daily activities of the independently wealthy, even if it at the surface resembles activities for which a wage would be paid.
This coming from a guy who claims to work 7 days a week.
What exactly is the value of AI, if he’s still working 7 days a week?
