Just imagine if you were living in Palestine right now. Would you say Palestine has a right to exist, or that You have a right to exist?

The people are the ones that need protection and human rights are a tool to do just that.

Nation states do not need this protection, only the people.

So, what you are saying is that the genocide that Israel is committing is justified?

They’ve been “fighting it out”. It has resulted in a genocide and crimes against humanity against the people in Palestine.

If an executive order controls how all elections are handled then states have no rights.

What we are discovering is that all the rights we were promised we have in the USA were really just gentleman’s agreements.

But outside of our silly country, there are other concepts such as human rights, and what you’ll find is that this isn’t a thing for nation states.

The main take away for me is that states don’t have rights, the people do.
