i only got to see a few episodes this season so far, and that’s disheartening to hear on one hand and good to hear on the other.

the first few episodes had me thinking that the courier was a flash in the pan who no matter what he could have done could not prevent the outcome in the show… and that had me feeling kinda disheartened with similar realizations in real life… kinda like the feeling i got when they nuked shady sands nonsensically to make the bad guy evil, for no real reason.

if i would have my way. i would depict the courier as mythical to everyone around who was not only responsible for all outcomes (blamed and appladed for all choices out comes even if seemingly contradictory) and would also be talked about as if they are an immortal techno litch with control over an orbital laser cannon, with super human combat and stealth capabilities, and to be mostly hidden through the episodes, but would show up like the mysterious stranger for Lucy. and they would refuse to answer any questions that would clarify. that also means that the situation in the mojave would be vastly different. show the good from the outcome of the game, but have mr. house and the ncr and the legion still be an outside force against the courier so his work is never done
