I agree this sentiment would be a unifying one for Americans of all stripes, but I just can’t ever see democrats seriously adopting this. They’ve been chasing the corporate donor money for 50 years now, and it has radically curtailed their effectiveness. So much so that most rational people view them as nothing more than controlled opposition.

I think a 3rd party focused on populism, if it recruits a few Justice Dems and America 1st purists as highly visible leadership, is the answer.
