The sad thing is that this experience should teach Americans to never, ever trust conservatives ever again and to never, ever allow them to have power again.

Can you Court martial a citizen?
I know Mark Kelly was in the military, but I don’t think they can court martial you for things after you leave.
They actually can, in certain cases, as long as they’re involved with the military in some way.
For example, receiving any kind of healthcare/health insurance, even after dismissal, through the branch that employed you, would qualify you to be tried in a court martial.
There’s actually a bunch of funky, convoluted ways how a court martial can be achieved on ex-military members.
