I suppose my take on this issue stanced specifically by Mamdani/Adams is that violence at protests is already illegal, regardless of the message, location, or means. Adams’ justification seems to fall short for me, and that staging an anti-war protest at a synagogue is not necessarily a bad-faith move if the message is to each and every Rabbi and other faith-leaders, calling on them individually to denounce Israel for their means in this conflict. Applying pressure with maintaining that Zionism is not Judaism, as you say. Does that feel antisemitic?
